ASME pressure vessel fabrication in Houston
Pressure vessel shells and tank shells, rolled from plate on our 12 ft Bertsch roll and welded to ASME code at 1645 Hill Rd.
What we build
Pressure vessel shells, tank shells and the parts that go into them: rolled cylinders, concentric and eccentric cones, and re-pads for nozzles. We work from your drawings and weld to ASME code, so the part arrives ready for your vessel shop or your field crew.
Sizes the shop handles
Shells start on a 12 ft wide Bertsch roll that takes plate up to 1¾ in. thick. We have three sub-arc welding machines for long seams, and overhead cranes up to 15 tons move the heavy sections. If your shell is bigger than one roll pass, tell us in the RFQ and we will tell you how we would build it.
Materials
PVQ plate, stainless steels, high-strength steel, chromoly steels and high-nickel alloys. If your spec calls for something else, put it in the RFQ.

Questions buyers ask
Can you work to our ASME drawings and specs?
Yes. Send the drawings and the spec sheet with your RFQ. ASME code welding is part of what we do every day.
Do you source the plate?
We can. Material sourcing is one of our services, or you can supply your own plate.
What should I send for a quote?
Drawings or a dimensioned sketch, material and thickness, quantity, and the date you need the parts. Email them to ckindall@txplatefab.com or use the RFQ form.
