Concentric and eccentric steel cones
Rolled, formed and welded cones for vessels, hoppers, stacks and transitions, cut from plate and built to your dimensions.
Concentric or eccentric
A concentric cone keeps both ends on the same centerline. An eccentric cone offsets the small end so one side stays flat, which is what you want when liquid or solids must not pool along the bottom. Tell us which you need, both diameters, the height or angle, and the plate thickness.
How we make them
The cone pattern is burned on our 15 × 40 ft plasma and oxy-fuel table, rolled or formed to shape and welded. Depending on size, a cone is made in one piece or from segments.
Materials
Carbon steel, PVQ plate, stainless steels, high-strength steel, chromoly and high-nickel alloys.

What thickness can you roll?
Our 12 ft Bertsch roll takes plate up to 1¾ in. thick.
Do you build one-off cones?
Yes. Send the drawing with the quantity you need.
