Rolled and welded cylinders and shells
ASME cylinders and tank shells rolled from plate up to 1¾ in. thick, welded and shipped from our North Houston shop.
What we roll
Cylinders for pressure vessels and tanks, pipe and duct sections, and shells for whatever your drawing calls for. Plate goes through our 12 ft wide Bertsch roll, up to 1¾ in. thick, and the long seam is welded to ASME code.
Big parts, handled
Five overhead cranes, the largest rated 15 tons, move heavy shells around the shop, and finished parts leave on flatbeds, as in the photos.
Materials
PVQ plate, stainless steels, high-strength steel, chromoly steels and high-nickel alloys.
Questions buyers ask
What diameters can you roll?
It depends on thickness and material. Send the diameter, length and plate thickness and we will confirm.
Can you supply the plate?
Yes, material sourcing is part of our service. You can also send your own plate.
Do you weld the seams?
Yes. Cylinders are rolled and welded, with ASME code welding where the job calls for it.
