Steel and alloy plate rolling in Houston
Our 12 ft wide Bertsch plate roll takes steel and alloy plate up to 1¾ in. thick. Bring us plate to roll, or let us cut, roll and weld the whole part.
Roll only, or the whole part
Plate rolling is a service on its own. Send plate to be rolled to your diameter, or send drawings and we cut, roll and weld the finished shell or cone. Either way it goes through the same 12 ft Bertsch roll.
Limits
12 ft wide, up to 1¾ in. thick. Thicker or harder plate rolls to a larger minimum diameter; send the material and diameter and we will confirm before you ship anything.
Straightening and forming
We also straighten plate and form it on two press brakes: a 1,000 ton Pacific (15 ft) and a 500 ton Steel Weld (20 ft).

What alloys can you roll?
Carbon steel, PVQ plate, stainless steels, high-strength steel, chromoly and high-nickel alloys.
Do you weld after rolling?
Yes, including ASME code welding.
